Bio

Jonathan was born and raised in the epic state of Texas. He spent his formative years in Waxahachie, the cultural and social hub of the state. It was there that he finely honed his creative skills that would lay the groundwork for his future career. He graduated with a BA in Film Scoring from Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA in 2001.  Since then, his music has appeared on Archer, American Idol, So You Think You Can Dance, Family Guy and numerous other shows.

He has also composed soundtracks for many independent games including Owlboy, Heart Forth, Alicia and Cook, Serve, Delicious!  Owlboy was released to critical acclaim last year and just recently won the Gamer’s Voice award at SXSW in Austin, TX.  Iam8bit is releasing a 2xLP vinyl of Jonathan’s original soundtrack for Owlboy in Q2 of 2017.

Jonathan also tours as a pianist and composer with the Austin Piazzolla Quintet (APQ) and Waterloo Trio.  APQ is releasing their 4th studio album in April of 2017.
